Emerging Trends in Health Care Delivery
Even before the pandemic, the world of health and wellbeing had been changing rapidly. New technology has been transforming how health care is delivered and supported and we had begun to witness the movement to a world of wearables and remote diagnostics and a proliferation of remote care. While employers were expanding their focus to address employee’s mental health needs and broader wellbeing.
Yet today, the impetus behind these activities has been accelerated with the impact of COVID-19 and the changes to the world of work it has brought, with a greater focus on online health care delivery, employee mental health and broader wellbeing.
Against this backdrop we have launched the WTW Emerging Trends in Health Care Delivery survey, which examines how UK employers are responding to these trends and their expectations for the future.
The survey was conducted between January and February 2021 and includes 213 responses.
It gives valuable insights into:
– What your peers in the same sector are doing
– Flagship employer strategies
– Issues facing employers – employee mental health, financial wellbeing, family and reproductive health
– Use of analytics and data
– Use of virtual services
