During lockdown millions of us were forced to work from the discomfort of our makeshift dining table and bedroom offices. Endless hours and months dressed down below in PJs and zoom friendly up top, sat at perfect dinner party, but not meeting-typing-writing friendly, chairs has taken its toll on the nation’s musculoskeletal (MSK) health.
These unfamiliar working conditions inevitably put a strain on a person’s back, neck and shoulders. According to a survey by the Institute of Employment Studies, there was a ‘significant increase in musculoskeletal complaints’ in lockdown.
