We have reviewed the insurer’s website and other communications. The key updates and changes are listed below.

Healix – key updates

  • Video consultations will be funded with all Healix recognised consultants where medically appropriate and the technology is available.
  • Physiotherapy can be delivered by initial telephone assessment then self-managed.
  • Mental health can be delivered by telephone and Skype.
Each applicable policy of insurance must be reviewed to determine the extent, if any, of coverage for COVID-19.  Coverage may vary depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances.  For global client programs it is critical to consider all local operations and how policies may or may not include COVID-19 coverage.
